بحث صاحب السمو الشيخ محمد بن زايد آل نهيان رئيس الدولة، حفظه الله، مع أخيه الملك عبدالله الثاني ابن الحسين ملك المملكة الأردنية الهاشمية الشقيقة، أمس، العلاقات الأخوية ومختلف جوانب التعاون والعمل المشترك بين البلدين، مؤكدين حرصهما على مواصلة تعزيزهما بما يخدم مصالحهما المتبادلة ويعود بالخير على شعبيهما.
كما استعرض سموه وملك الأردن - خلال اللقاء الذي جرى في قصر الشاطئ في أبوظبي - عدداً من القضايا الإقليمية والدولية محل الاهتمام المشترك وتبادلا وجهات النظر بشأنها وفي مقدمتها التطورات التي تشهدها منطقة الشرق الأوسط، خاصة المستجدات في الأرض الفلسطينية المحتلة، مؤكدين موقف البلدين الثابت تجاه دعم حقوق الشعب الفلسطيني الشقيق وأهمية العمل الدولي للدفع تجاه إرساء السلام الشامل والعادل الذي يقوم على أساس «حل الدولتين» كونه السبيل الوحيد لتحقيق الاستقرار في المنطقة لما فيه مصلحة جميع شعوبها ودولها.
وفي هذا السياق شدد الجانبان على موقف البلدين الرافض لأي توجه إسرائيلي لضم الضفة الغربية أو أي جزء من الأرض الفلسطينية المحتلة أو تهجير الفلسطينيين من أرضهم إضافة إلى خطط التوسع الاستيطاني، مؤكدين أن مثل هذه الإجراءات تقوض «حل الدولتين» وتهدد الأمن والاستقرار الإقليميين وفرص تحقيق السلام في المنطقة.
كما عبر الجانبان عن رفضهما المواقف والتصريحات الإسرائيلية التي تنطوي على تهديد لسيادة دول المنطقة.

وأكد صاحب السمو رئيس الدولة وجلالة ملك الأردن حرصهما المشترك على مواصلة التشاور الأخوي والتنسيق المشترك بين البلدين خاصة في ظل التطورات التي تمر بها المنطقة.
حضر اللقاء، سمو الشيخ منصور بن زايد آل نهيان، نائب رئيس الدولة، نائب رئيس مجلس الوزراء، رئيس ديوان الرئاسة، وسمو الشيخ خالد بن محمد بن زايد آل نهيان، ولي عهد أبوظبي، والفريق سمو الشيخ سيف بن زايد آل نهيان، نائب رئيس مجلس الوزراء وزير الداخلية، وسمو الشيخ حامد بن زايد آل نهيان، وسمو الشيخ عبدالله بن زايد آل نهيان، نائب رئيس مجلس الوزراء وزير الخارجية، وسمو الشيخ حمدان بن محمد بن زايد آل نهيان، نائب رئيس ديوان الرئاسة للشؤون الخاصة، ومعالي الشيخ محمد بن حمد بن طحنون آل نهيان، مستشار رئيس الدولة، ومعالي علي بن حماد الشامسي الأمين العام للمجلس الأعلى للأمن الوطني، ومعالي حميد عبيد أبوشبص رئيس جهاز الإمارات للمحاسبة، ومعالي الدكتور أحمد مبارك المزروعي رئيس مكتب رئيس الدولة للشؤون الاستراتيجية رئيس مكتب أبوظبي التنفيذي، وعدد من كبار المسؤولين في الدولة.
كما حضره من الجانب الأردني الوفد المرافق لجلالته الذي يضم، الأمير الحسين بن عبدالله الثاني ولي عهد المملكة الأردنية الهاشمية، ودولة الدكتور جعفر حسان رئيس الوزراء، وأيمن الصفدي نائب رئيس الوزراء وزير الخارجية وشؤون المغتربين، وعدد من كبار المسؤولين في الأردن.
وقد غادر الملك عبدالله الثاني البلاد في وقت لاحق حيث كان في وداعه في مطار البطين صاحب السمو رئيس الدولة، وعدد من سمو الشيوخ وكبار المسؤولين.
وكان قد وصل الملك عبدالله الثاني ابن الحسين عاهل المملكة الأردنية الهاشمية الشقيقة إلى البلاد أمس في زيارة عمل.
وكان صاحب السمو الشيخ محمد بن زايد آل نهيان رئيس الدولة، حفظه الله، في مقدمة مستقبلي أخيه الملك عبدالله الثاني لدى وصوله والوفد المرافق مطار البطين في أبوظبي.
كما كان في الاستقبال، سمو الشيخ خالد بن محمد بن زايد آل نهيان، ولي عهد أبوظبي، وسمو الشيخ حمدان بن محمد بن زايد آل نهيان، نائب رئيس ديوان الرئاسة للشؤون الخاصة، ومعالي الشيخ محمد بن حمد بن طحنون آل نهيان مستشار رئيس الدولة، ومعالي حميد عبيد أبوشبص رئيس جهاز الإمارات للمحاسبة، وعدد من كبار المسؤولين.
